What is the week like?

Everything kicks off with your announcement email the Friday before, laying out the rules and setting the stage. The game then runs in the background of your week, never interfering with teaching or learning.

Along the way staff will encounter a pop-up hydration station with smoothies and mocktails, hidden agents waiting to hear the phrase, “The owls are not what they seem”, a Four Season rest station, an audio clue from Beyonce reminding them to check “To the left, to the left. Everything you need’s in the box to the left,” a clue leading to a room filled with appreciation notes from students, and much, much more!

But it’s not just about the journey, it’s about how much fun they have along the way! You get to choose from as many hilarious mini-games and detours you like to make your race wild. Detour options include:

• Cafeteria Carpool Karaoke

• Slug-bug/Punch-buggy hidden all over the school!

• Rest time at the “Four Seasons” spa

• Oreo “Car Snacking” challenge

How much time does it take to setup?

We set out to make this the biggest and best appreciation week ever, but also make sure it was super easy for organizers. We want it to feel big and impressive to the staff, but behind the scenes be quite easy.

The packet takes about 45 minutes to initially read through and customize however you like. From there, it as simple as distributing each day of the race to a different group so no one person has to manage the whole week. Most schools do this with just a small team, often one or two administrators, a parent or two, and perhaps an assistant to lead the students.
