Teacher Appreciation Week will be here before you know it, and we make it super easy for you to pull off an AMAZING week.

What is it?

If you’ve ever wanted an appreciation week that everyone would talk about for years, this is it.

The week centers around hilarious 3-5 minute “radio shows” that you broadcast over your intercom during morning announcements or online as podcasts.

Each show includes a contest or giveaway that will have your staff searching for secret agents, texting in trivia answers, making long-distance dedications to other coworkers, and laughing all week long.

But this is more than just funny shows and contests. This is a professional-level appreciation week with everything taken care of for you: Posters, pre-written letters to parents and businesses, daily emails, prize coupons, and everything else you need to give them the incredible week they deserve, while keeping it stress free on the administrators!

How Much?

How it works.

How much fun can your school have in one week with their own radio station? Use our scripts and sound effects to easily create the shows, then customize and add to your week from there.

Activities include:

  • Contests including Text-in trivia, Mystery voice, Name that tune, Secret agent hunt, Appreciation elves, Catchphrase callback, Hand on the prize, and more.

  • Parody shows of “The Office Ladies”, “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend”, “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me”, “Delilah”, “Snap Judgement” and more, using your staff as the cast, which will be the hit of the week.

  • Shout outs from students and parents “over the air” to their favorite teachers

  • Guest hosts

  • Long-distance dedications from one staff member to another

  • Prank calls to rival school admin asking if you can borrow “school salt” for the cafeteria… like we said, you customize everything and can include this or not, but it sure does make for a funny show!

  • The possibilities are endless, and we guide you through it all.

Time Required

Everything is easy, but we want you to have plenty of time for setup. You’ll need to decide who will be the Show Host, which contests you want to use, which parody shows to record, and organize any prizes. Plus, this is such a fun format that you will want to create as much content as you can, and we suggest giving yourself at least a week in advance to prepare.

Reviews:

“My staff just cannot get enough! lol!  They’re sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for each contest. Their smiles and laughter are worth everything! ” --Kaitlin Hipskind, Principal

“I was skeptical ...  I knew it was going to be a really busy week outside of the program, but I went for it anyway and I could not have been more surprised.  Boy was I wrong!  I'm so pleased.  We laughed so hard, we cried.  Thank you!. Thank you!” -- Joy Gardner, Principal

“I just want you to know that we had a BLAST! We laughed until we had tears in our eyes. Staff said this is just what they needed and appreciated the effort and time that was put into this. Thank you for the silliness, laughs, and excitement that went into our week. It was great!” -- Bill Sellers, Principal

“Ok, my favorite so far has been Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me! We had two teachers competing who are both super competitive and their answers were hilarious as they tried to remember what happened just last week. Everything has been super easy and we had great response from the prize request emails. Thank you and I’ll send some videos shortly” --Kayla Jackson, Principal
