What is the adventure like?

A secret group has been quietly helping teachers and students in your town for over 50 years, but now that group is in danger of disappearing, and they need help.

Before you know it, teachers and students are swept up in The Wishing Well Challenge: solving clues, cracking puzzles, and amazingly even having a wish or two granted in return.

Daily puzzles require different knowledge and strengths to engage everyone: Music, sports, science, literature, comics, podcasts, youtubers, and even trivia specific just to your school. Everyone will feel like they are contributing and working together to solve the puzzles and save the town.

Anyone who is a Goonies fan will flip out with all the hidden references and easter eggs, realizing halfway through the week that they are in the exact same adventure, though you don’t have to have seen the movie to follow along.

The program uses the same psychological cues and journeys that the Goonies movie did, naturally bringing everyone closer, leaving the school with a lasting sense of belonging and community, and a big boost to get through winter.

How much time or extra money is involved?

This is intentionally designed to be super easy so you can enjoy it as much as everyone else. The instructions take about 30 minutes to review and you are able to customize everything to ensure it works for your school.

There are no extra props, prizes, or treats you will need to purchase. Daily preparation simply involve copy/pasting our emails to staff, posting the puzzles and letters, and including our scripts in your morning and afternoon announcements.
